yes, because we deemed our life one of art & so it is~

Are you part of a “scene”? What is the scene and how do you view it?

it seems natural that humans fall into groups/scenes. our work(mostly) falls under the nightlife scene & u can keep condensing it down- the drag scene, the queer drag scene. The scene is an area we fit, we feel at ease in our scene~

What do you believe in?

Ourself.

Is there a philosophy you apply to art making or life in general? 

many philosophies could apply to our art. overall in life our guiding remembrance is- 

“The only constant is change” & that everyones reality is their own. 

Where does your work come from? What drives you and your practice? 

Our work comes from the urges of the universe that flow through us. Our drive is our internal need to explore vulnerability & sensuality & the ways this connects all our stories. We’ve had a long journey to being A Self Love Slut & helping others connect with self in this way increases our own abundance. 

What challenges do you face and how do you deal with them? 

Being chronically ill (shout out to the spoonies!) & mentally divergent provides a great reason to forge our own path & create a life that works for us to thrive even under the weight of caplistim. Finding balance in energy, abundance in our surroundings, & constant gratitudes for all we achieve keeps us getting out of bed every morning even when everything hurts.

Is your work important? Explain? 

Yes. Because representation is important! We’re a self love slut thanks to learning from others' stories, but growing up we didnt see anyone like us. We didn’t even have a language for trans-ness. Being a visible Self Loving QTPOC is Radical & Needed. 

How would you describe your work to someone who can’t perceive it with the main sense it applies to. The feeling of empowerment in ur guts.

we really relate 2 cats but am allergic(& hate when people compare our beats 2 a cat) - will cry over stories of senior dogs
